11 dead in molten iron overflow accident in east China

Rescuers work at the Nanjing Iron and Steel Group Co. Ltd. in Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, Oct. 5, 2011. Eleven workers were confirmed dead, another worker was injured, and one remained missing after melted iron spilled over a refining furnace at around 11:45 am (0345 GMT) Wednesday. The accident occurred when 13 workers were preparing for the shutdown of No. 5 furnace.
