The recent appearance of two UFOs over the skies in China has baffled experts, who are calling the sightings “inexplicable,” according to researchers at the Purple Mountain Observatory, a part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province.
“These UFOs are without a doubt outside the realm of our experience and expertise,” said Wang Sichao, a member of the Purple Mountain team, whose statement came after the careful analysis of more than 40 eyewitness reports.
In the first incident, which occurred at about 9 pm on August 20, observers onboard airplanes passing Shanghai said they saw a strange mass of light.
Monitoring stations from the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region and Shanxi Province also confirmed the sighting.
At around 7 pm on September 26, two big extraterrestrial objects flew over the sky from West to East over North China. A half an hour later, one of the objects, yellow in color, stopped in the middle of the sky and the other one emitting a blue hue, “exploded” after slowing down midair. Five minutes later, the yellow UFO started traveling back westward, eventually disappearing.
Wang said whatever caused the strange bursts of light are completely unknown in the history of scientific exploration.
