Shanghai Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals Ltd said that none of the 574,000 bottles of Tylenol infant medicine being recalled in the US following complaints over a new bottle design are for sale in China.

The bottles were recalled due to difficulties in measuring the correct dosage for the grape-flavored fever-relief medicine when using the new-design bottles.

The company also stressed that at present, all over-the-counter drugs it sells in China are produced by Shanghai Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals Ltd, and comply with manufacturing standards.
