Nicaragua's national soccer team is seen presenting few possibilities of winning over Puerto Rico in a World Cup qualifier later this month, local press said Tuesday.

The Puerto Rican team includes all four players who scored in the most recent matches of the Confederation of North, Central American and the Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) as part of the second qualifying round for the 2014 World Cup.

They are currently ranked the second in the group in this early phase of the qualifying stages after defeating Saint Lucia 4-0 and 3-0, drawing with Canada 0-0, tying Saint Kitts 1-1 and Nevis 0-0, and lost to Canada 3-0.

Puerto Rico will arrive in Nicaragua on Thursday for two matches against the hosts, which is now trained under Spanish coach Enrique Llena in the soccer school "Negro Julio" in southern Nicaragua.

The matches are scheduled to be played on Friday 24 and Sunday 26 in the National Soccer Stadium in the capital of Managua, the Nicaraguan Football Federation (FENIFUT) said in a statement.
