Total trade between China and Mexico amounted to $33.36 billion in 2011, up 34.76 percent year-on-year, according to statistics the General Administration of Customs released Wednesday.
China's exports to Mexico totaled $23.98 billion, up 34.16 percent year-on-year, while imports from Mexico totaled $9.38 billion, up 36.30 percent.
As of the end of 2010, there were 160 Mexican enterprises with a presence in China, investing $86.65 million in industries including warehousing, real estate and metallurgy. China had invested $220 million in Mexico, in areas such as mining, television making, brass processing and textiles.
