Reform of IPO regs expected Mar. 10

The latest market rumor about IPO regulatory reform came out Monday, saying the new policy is expected to be launched on March 10.

Recently, the comment made by Guo Shuqing, chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), on the possibility of abolishing the current IPO approval procedure stirred heated debate. Insiders said securities traders have handed in 11 suggestions to the CSRC, and a major reform will come out on March 10. An insider said the CSRC is determined to launch IPO reforms.
