Big in China author Alan Paul will share his memoir of three and a half years in Beijing, raising three kids and forming a blues band, "Woodie Alan" which was voted Beijing Band of the Year. Paul moved to Beijing in 2005 when his wife Rebecca was named Wall Street Journal Bureau Chief, leaving his job as senior writer for Guitar and Slam magazines and reinventing himself as a writer, blogger, rocker, and Panda Dad, the alter ego to Tiger Mother.
