Qujiang Cool Cave Ruins Park, Xi'an Located near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Qujiang New District in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. Cool Cave Ruins Park is the first love-themed park in China. It is built upon the love story between Wang Baochuan (the daughter of the prime minister) and Xue Pinggui (a poor civilian) in Tang Dynasty (618-907). The park features love tour, love education and love commemoration. Admission fee: 60 yuan Transportation: take bus No.212, 801 or Qujiang Xinjing Line and get off at Qujiang Cool Cave Ruins Park.

Singles Day, or Guang Gun Jie in Chinese, is a pop culture holiday celebrated on November 11 for those who remain unmarried in China.

 

Origins

 

Singles Day was firstly celebrated at universities in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It was originated from Nanjing University in 1993. As November 11 is composed of four "ones", the date is named Singles Day. The college students carried the university tradition to society after they graduated. Now it has been widely popularized.

 

Celebration

 

To celebrate the day, singles often eat four deep-fried dough sticks (Youtiao) which symbolize the four ones in "11.11" and one steamed stuffed bun (baozi) which represent the middle dot. Besides, people hold a series of parties to say goodbye to their single lives.
