A ceremony to honor role models who had made major contributions to ethnic harmony is held in Beijing, capital of China, Sept. 29, 2009. At the ceremony, 739 organizations and 749 individuals received awards from the State Council (the Cabinet). (Xinhua/Li Xueren)
