Taiwan trips made easier
Limitations on mainlanders visiting relatives in Taiwan will be relaxed from today, the Department of Internal Affairs of Taiwan said Monday.
People visiting their relatives can stay for up to two months each time, the island’s Central News Agency reported.
They can visit Taiwan up to three times a year, and stay for a total of six months, it said. Also, people who are sick can go to Taiwan for medical treatment for up to three months if their illness falls into certain categories set by the province’s health authority.
