Hu Jintao to attend G8 meeting

President Hu Jintao will attend a dialogue meeting between the leaders of the Group of Eight and emerging economies from July 8 to 10 in Italy, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement yesterday.

Hu will go at the invitation of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, the statement said.
