Great mother love beyond ethnic groups

Hanipa, one of the first group of ten topmost ouststanding mothers in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is seen in this May 10, 2009 file photo. Hanipa gave birth to 9 children and adopted 10 orphans from the ethnic groups of Han, Hui, Uygur and Kazak. In addition to the ethnic groups of Tatar and Uzbek of her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, the famiy of Hanipa consists of more than 180 members from 6 ethnic groups.
