At least 20 were killed and others injured after trees fell on a crowd of students swimming at a waterfall in Kintampo, Ghana on March 19.
According to Ghana National Fire Service spokesman Prince Billy Anaglate, the "unusual incident" occurred as a group of high school students were swimming during a storm at the popular tourist spot in the county’s Brong-Ahafo region.
A total 18 students died at the scene from the falling trees, while two others died in hospital, Anaglate said.
Eleven are receiving treatment, including one of the school administrators in charge of the trip, he added.
