Well-known Chinese indie band Hanggai will headline the Water and Pear Blossoms World Music Festival, which will feature dozens of musicians from home and abroad from Friday to Saturday in Yangxin county, East China's Shandong Province. According to a press release from the event's organizers, the music festival, a spin-off of Hanggai's own music tour, will see bands and singers perform next to a sea of pear blossoms, one of the county's signature springtime scenic views.

In addition to the six-member band Hanggai, Juan Carmona, known as the prince of the flamenco guitar, Uyghur singer Perhat Khaliq and his band and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region-based Dastan Ensemble will also be part of the lineup for the three-day festival.

Tickets run from 100 yuan ($15) for a single day ticket and 269 yuan for a three-day ticket.
