"We need to lower her temperature immediately or her life will be in danger."

Sunday morning, Zheng Yanjun, an on-duty police officer in Putuo district, saw a woman on a scooter crash into a side rail at the intersection of Wuning Road and Dongxin Road. With temperatures reaching 37 C that morning, he placed a parasol over the injured woman while calling 120 for medical assistance. He didn't dare move her as he feared she had hurt her spine. He and other officers also bought her water and notified her family and friends. The woman is currently undergoing treatment for her injuries.
