Seven-year-old Zhao Zitong must be one of the youngest pianists to hold a solo concert at the Music Hall of the National Library of China.

On Tuesday night, the young music talent performed 13 songs for her very first solo concert at the venue. The performance took place before the young musician leaves for the Manhattan School of Music to further her studies.

Renowned pianist Wu Muye also attended the concert, performing three songs, including "Ode to the Motherland," after Zhao performed.

Zhao attended a master class by pianist Lang Lang on Monday, during which time the older Chinese musician praised Zhao for "her musical sense and creative power to interpret music."

Early in June, the young Chinese musician became the youngest prep student from China to be admitted by the Manhattan School of Music, where she will study piano and violin.
