100,000 - the amount of money in yuan ($15,154) that more than 70 percent China's women would like their future husbands to earn per year. Zhenai.com, an online dating website, and LinkedIn, a social network platform, published a report on singles in the workplace. The report also showed that more than 70 percent of Chinese singles work overtime every day and that people in Beijing and Shanghai mainly seek romantic partners in the workplace.

2,000 - the number of ancient tombs discovered in the sub-center of Beijing near the Dongxiayuan Subway Station of Line 6 in Tongzhou district. The tombs were discovered during the construction of administration offices. Professionals are conducting further archaeological surveys. So far several high-value tombs have been found, including one from the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and well-preserved tombs from the Liao (916-1125) and Jin (1115-1234) dynasties.

600 - the number of wholesale shop owners that were relocated from Beijing to a big trade center in Cangzhou, Hebei Province on August 30. They are the second batch of shop owners to be moved after the September 2016 relocation of over 200 Beijing stores in a program that aims to ease logistics and transportation pressures on the capital. The center welcomed more than 10,000 shoppers and another over 500 shop owners from Beijing, who came to view the space for possible future relocation, on its first day of business.

513 - the number of medicines that were added to the list of drugs whose fees are covered by Beijing medical insurance as of September 1. More medicines, including targeted anticancer drugs, will be added to the list to help reduce the pressure on patients who have cancer or chronic diseases such as diabetes and kidney problems.
