"The minibus was turned into canned meat."

Traffic police in Fengxian district stopped an overloaded minibus on Monday. About 15 people were crammed into a seven-seat shuttle, kankanews.com reported Tuesday. The police found that all the passengers were children except the driver, who explained that he was entrusted by their parents to pick them up from school. Earlier in the week, traffic police in Qingpu district also stopped a seven-seat minibus carrying 14 adults. The driver said he was transporting employees of a luggage factory to work. To save on costs, they all crammed into one shuttle. Both drivers were deducted six points and fined 200 yuan ($30.60) for illegal overloading.
