"The Tunisian airline company Tunisair scheduled 45 flights from the Holy Places in Saudi Arabia during the period from September 6 to 21, in order to ensure the return of the 10,804 Tunisian pilgrims," Tunisair announced on Friday.

Departure flights from Saudi Arabia take off from Jeddah airports until September 12 and from Medina from September 13 to 21, according to Tunisair.

Tunisair reported that two aircraft Airbus A340 will be at the disposal of the Tunisian pilgrims with the strengthening of a psychological, logistical and medical Tunisian assistance delegation.

This year the Tunisian Ministry of Religious Affairs was able to count five cases of pilgrim deaths in Holy Places.

According to the Tunisian authorities and Tunisian delegation sent to Saudi Arabia, the main cause of death is traffic accidents.
