A South China theme park is inviting visitors to camp out with its giant pandas and little cubs for a wild sleepover.

Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province will let tourists view the bears in their habitat overnight from sleeping bags and tents, China News Service reported.

The activity marks the park's 20th anniversary, employees at Chimelong announced Friday.

The family-oriented visit starts with a tour of the koala and flamingo habitats.

But at night, visitors pitch tents in the panda house right next to the glass, offering an up-close view of the animals' nocturnal activities.

Chimelong boasts seven pandas, including 11-month-old twins Qinqin and Aiai.

A security team is on duty to ensure visitors' safety.

The activity costs 1,368 yuan ($211) for two adults and one child less than 1 meter tall. Visitors can reserve a spot through the park's app and WeChat account.
