"I drove back to the hospital where I found the bag and gave it to the old woman; I wanted to share the kindness I had received from others."

So said a man surnamed Gao who found a bag in front of a hospital in Chaoyang district on December 1. The bag belonged to a woman in her 70s surnamed Yang. There was 6,000 yuan ($907) cash, a cell phone and her medical insurance card and identification card in the bag. Gao passed by the hospital and found the bag, and then he waited for a while but no one came looking for it. Since he had to go to work he took the bag with him, thinking that he would find the owner later. When he was half way to work, Yang called her own phone and Gao picked it up. He immediately went back and gave the bag to Yang. She offered to give him some cash to thank him but he refused it. (Source: Beijing Morning Post)
