The China Consumers Association (CCA) on Monday talked with seven bike-sharing companies including Mobike, ofo and Youon about problems related to deposits and maintenance.

The head of the CCA said that the closure of several bike-sharing firms recently has harmed the legal rights and interests of consumers, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The companies said at the meeting that they will strengthen communication with regulators such as the China Banking Regulatory Commission, in order to actively receive guidance on maintaining the safety of consumer deposits, the report said.
