"It took me only 10 seconds to pass through the airport's self-service."

An airline passenger surnamed Li was the first to use the new e-channel departure concourse at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. She shared with media her positive experience. On Monday, Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection launched 21 new self-service clearance channels at the departure concourse of the Pudong airport. There are currently 113 self-service clearance channels at Shanghai's two airports. According to Shanghai General Station of Immigration Inspection, the port handled 43.75 million arrivals and departures in 2017, with a daily average of 120,000, a record high. Among all the ports in Shanghai, Pudong International handled 35.6 million passengers, ranking first in China.
