Taecyeon, a member of South Korean boy group 2PM band, posted two photos of Jun. K and himself standing together dressed in military uniform on Instagram on Sunday.

2PM currently has six members, Jun. K, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung.

Jay Park, who used to be the leader of the band, left in early 2010 to follow a career as an actor and a solo singer.

"The 50/50 guys today, " Taecyeon commented on the photos, noting that half of the band's members (Taecyeon, Jun. K and Wooyoung) are now carrying out the country's compulsory military service.

According to an explanation on 2PM's official Instagram account, the two idols were on leave that day and decided to photograph their reunion.

Receiving nearly 3,000 likes on Instagram, the photos were quickly commented on by fans from all over the world.

"Oppa... I proud of you..... Btw, when you perform in Indonesia? I'm waiting," widya_sinaga03 noted under the photos.

2PM originally belonged to a larger group band One Day, which had 11 members.

The band later split into two groups - 2AM and 2PM.

2PM debuted in 2008 with their first song "10 Points Out of 10 Points."

Different from other bands which focus on presenting a pretty boy image, 2PM aims to portray a more masculine vibe.
