This meeting was sponsored by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and co-organized by China Public Private Partnerships Center and Department of Finance of Guizhou Province.

The meeting lasted three days. It included introducing the development of PPP in China and abroad, exchanges, training and presentation of projects, as well as field visits. The meeting focused on enhancing the management ability and the executive capacity of government officials in PPP-related departments. The PPP model promotes the construction of infrastructure in Asia-Pacific regions, explains the UN's 2030 sustainable development goals and supports the Belt and Road Initiative.

Zhang Shufeng, the executive president of China Fortune Land Development Co, Ltd (CFLD), shared his experience of carrying out the PPP projects of CFLD over the past 16 years. According to Zhang, the PPP model of CFLD includes the following six aspects: planning and design, land consolidation, infrastructure construction, public facilities construction, industry development and city operation. It's a new model that integrates the infrastructure construction of the city into the development of the industry park.
