Hainan Airlines

Hainan Airlines adopts Airbus' A350 for flights from Beijing to Shanghai starting from Friday, and it is the first time for the company to fly with an A350.

The airline plans to introduce four A350-900s this year, according to a message it sent to the Global Times via email.

Airbus Helicopter

Airbus Helicopters have recently delivered one H135 to the Health Commission of Qingdao in East China's Shandong Province, making this helicopter the first of 100 H135s to be delivered to China per a framework agreement signed in June 2016.

The H135 was delivered in helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) configuration, fully equipped with the latest medical interior, and will perform life-saving emergency medical services (EMS) missions in Qingdao and its surrounding areas. It is also the first H135 with Airbus' latest generation Helionix avionics suite delivered to China on September 28.

American Airlines

American Airlines, the world's largest airline in terms of fleet size, is now accepting the world's largest mobile and online payment platform, Alipay, in China on the firm's website.

Alipay users can now book and purchase tickets on American's daily flights from Beijing and Shanghai to its US hubs in Los Angeles and Dallas Fort Worth, which offer further connections to nearly 300 destinations on five continents.

Alipay is the preferred method of payment for more than 50 percent of consumers in China and has over 870 million users worldwide together with its strategic partners.

Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific and Qantas customers are set to benefit from a new codeshare agreement, as the agreement will see Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific add its code to 13 routes on Qantas' domestic network in Australia.

In turn, Qantas will add its code to Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon's services within Asia from Hong Kong to 10 cities across India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and on Cathay Pacific's services from Hong Kong to Perth and Cairns.
