Forging ahead

People are busy at work building the Xuzhou-Yancheng High-speed Railway in Huaian, East China's Jiangsu Province on Monday, the first working day after the seven-day Spring Festival holiday. The railway is expected to be open to traffic by the end of 2019. The total investment is 42.8 billion yuan ($6.32 billion) for the 314-kilometer line, which starts from Xuzhou, runs through Suqian and Huaian and ends in Yancheng. Photo:VCG
