China's major football livestreaming company PP Sports has strengthened their partnership with the Bundesliga by initiating a promotional month for the German top flight.

PP Sports, a subsidiary of the Suning Group which also owns Italian giants Inter Milan, will also ask former German national team head coach Juergen Klinsmann to visit China later this year.

PP Sports is the exclusive digital broadcaster of the Bundesliga in China after the two sides signed a deal in July last year which secured for PP Sports the broadcasting rights until the end of the 2022-23 season.

The Bundesliga is also considering working with Suning on youth training in China.

Yang Chen, a former China international who had stints in the Bundesliga, believes the youth training system of Bundesliga teams could benefit Chinese football.

"There is a surge of talented players in the Bundesliga, which means Germany has a very fruitful youth training system," said Yang, who is also the training head of the Chinese Football Association. "I am happy to see their pragmatic and professional working attitude in China."
