12th China Art Festival to kick off on May 20 in Shanghai

The 12th China Art Festival, the country's top-level cultural and artistic event, is set to be held from May 20 to June 2 in Shanghai. A press conference was held on Friday for two participating original dramas, ‘Gu Wenchang’ and ‘Dunhuang daughter’, produced by the National Theatre of China and Shanghai Huju Theatre, respectively. ‘Gu Wenchang’ is a story about a Chinese official who works for people and society. ‘Dunhuang daughter’ is about a girl who devotes her life to Dunhuang research.
