A woman was fired by her employer after she posted photos on her social media account saying she let her child urinate in a bowl in a restaurant, which went viral and infuriated Chinese netizens.

The woman from Changchun, capital city of Northeast China's Jilin Province took her child to a restaurant on Sunday.

While she was eating her child needed to pee. Instead of taking the kid to a toilet, she took a bowl from another dining table at the restaurant and let the child urinate in it.

She took a photo of the bowl full of urine, posted it in her social media account, launched a quiz, asking her friends to guess what was in the bowl.

Many netizens scolded the woman for being uncivilized and suggested her child is likely to have problems in school. Others said they would forgive the woman if she were to drink what was in the bowl.

Since a screenshot of her social media post featured the name of her employer, so company fired her. "The incident went viral and has impacted our business," said an unnamed manager.

The restaurant said it had replaced all the bowls that resemble the one in the photo.
