Chinese auction house Chengxuan on Wednesday released a list of the works of art that will go under the hammer during its upcoming spring auction. 

The auction, to be held on Wednesday, will be divided into eight sections covering everything from traditional Chinese paintings to contemporary works of art. 

The traditional Chinese painting section will see nearly 600 paintings, including works by Fu Baoshi, Li Keran and Xie Zhiliu, while the highlight of the contemporary section comes from renowned Chinese artist Guan Liang, whose Spring features a landscape painted while the artist was in Bergen, Germany. 

Chinese artist Lin Fengmian's Reading in Cottage, painted in 1937, will also go up for auction.
