Ziyuan county in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has won the bid to host the 2020 World Rafting Championships, the International Rafting Federation (IRF) said. 

Ziyuan, where the Wupai River runs through, has hosted the 2017 and 2018 World Cup series for rafting.

A test event for the worlds will be held from July 21 to 26 in the county. 

The prize money for the 2020 World Championships has reached $50,000, according to the IRF.
