 A grade two student in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province called the cops who proved the boy's math was better than his mom's.

The boy placed an emergency call to police, saying that he was being totally wronged and asked for help, Jiangsu Satellite TV reported on Monday.

The police arrived at the boy's home only to find the crisis was about a difficult math problem. The boy was at odds with his mother over how to solve a math problem his teacher had given as homework. The mom insisted her son's answer was wrong, but the boy was sure he used the right method to solve the equation.

The first lesson police gave the boy was about only calling the police emergency line when he's in real danger, not over an argument about a math problem.

A police officer eventually looked over the boy's homework and got the same answer as the boy. "You didn't understand the problem. For children, this is an easy question to solve," he said. The boy's mother finally apologized.
