Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment's action film "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" topped the Chinese mainland box office for a second day on Saturday, the China Movie Data Information Network said Sunday.

The film pulled in around 205.77 million yuan (about 29.8 million U.S. dollars) on the day and grossed about 366 million yuan in the two days since it opened on the mainland on Friday.

It was followed by Japanese animation "Doraemon: Nobita's Chronicle of the Moon Exploration," the last Doraemon feature film that brought in around 66.74 million yuan on its opening day on Saturday.

Coming in the third was Disney's live-action "Aladdin," which earned 28.29 million yuan.
