Hollywood's live-action/animated film "Pokemon Detective Pikachu" has been given an extended run at the Chinese mainland cinemas, the film's official Weibo account said Thursday.

Debuting on the mainland on May 10, the film is now available in theaters until July 9.

Almost one month into screening, the film has grossed more than 600 million yuan (about 89 million US dollars) on the Chinese mainland.
