Some 1,000 riders participated in the second round of the Zhejiang Great Bay Area Cycling Open in Wencheng county, Wenzhou on Sunday, as the series continued its presence in Zhejiang Province.

Wencheng, hometown to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) military strategist Liu Bowen, is also known for its 71.5 percent forest coverage.  

The Open series will continue in Yuyao on June 23 and in Ningbo on June 30.
