A fire at an animation studio in the city of Kyoto, western Japan, has injured more than 30 people, Japan's public broadcaster NHK said Thursday.

Of the multiple injuries in the fire, believed to be arson, at the studio of Kyoto Animation Co., around 10 people are thought to be in serious condition.
