The 11th China International Folk Art Festival is set to be held in Hohhot in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from August 23 to 28, festival organizers announced on Thursday. 

Aimed at promoting cultural exchange and communication, the festival will feature more than 300 artists from 13 countries and regions such as Russia, South Korea and Brazil. For some performances, Chinese artists will share the stage with overseas artists.

Folk dances and music will be performed not only at local theaters but also public spaces.
