The official account for iFeng Fashion on China's Twitter-like Sina Weibo disappeared from the platform on Thursday after it posted a photo of a Chinese actor dressed in a Japanese military uniform. 

On Wednesday, iFeng Fashion, a branch of internet giant ifeng.com, posted a group of photos of stars wearing military uniforms and called on netizens to do the same to celebrate Army Day in China, which falls on August 1. 

One post contained a poster for an upcoming TV period drama #RanQingDaDi (Brotherhood in the War) that showed Chinese actor Deng Lun wearing a Japanese military uniform in his role as one of the characters on the show. 

Later that day, the account disappeared from Sina Weibo.
