A dog caused a disturbance at a police station after its owner had been detained and was also eventually arrested for disturbing the office order.

One of the officers at the police station in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, surnamed Bo, told Pear Video that they took a Belgian Malinois back to the station as its owner had been detained and no one could feed it.

"We found that the criminal lived alone and kept this dog, and when we asked his relatives, no one was willing to adopt it," Bo said, "so we had to take it back to our police station first."

The dog had previously been kept in the police station canteen, but escaped from its cage on Thursday morning and ran into the police station.

"It jumped onto my colleague and then it ran into the yard, shaking and gnawing the branches," Bo recalled. "It seems like it was taking revenge for its owner whom we had arrested."

Though showing its strong discontent over its owner's arrest, the dog did not bite anyone.

Finally, the dog was brought into the cage again and taken to a local dog shelter. "It was also arrested for disturbing the order of our police station, just like its owner," Bo jokingly said.

Many netizens acknowledged that this was a good dog as it was loyal to its owner and did not hurt anyone. "I was touched. Though its revenge plan failed, it is still a brave dog," one netizen wrote.
