A courier in Southwest China thought it was strange when he was asked by a customer to buy a bottle of pesticide and deliver it to nearby location. His suspicions apparently stopped the man from committing suicide.

Chen Jianyun, the courier in Kaiyuan, Yunnan Province, received the order over the phone and was asked to deliver the pesticide to No.14 Middle School, according to a report by  Pear Video.

"I had a feeling that it was risky to carry out this order," Chen said. "So I immediately called the man, but he wouldn't tell me why he needed pesticide nor his exact address." Chen called the police instantly and continued to comfort the man by engaging him in conversation over the phone.

Finally, the man revealed his address to Chen and when police followed up, they learned the man was intending to kill himself with pesticide because of family troubles. They persuaded him to seek other solutions to his troubles.
