A man in Central China wasn't about to waste an already-open bottle of baijiu - China's famous liquor - when he was prevented from bringing it into a local railway station.  He sat down by the security check and drank all that was left in the bottle.

The video posted by Pear Video shows the man at the railway station in Xinyang, Henan Province taking huge swigs from a bottle which appears to hold a liter of baijiu, while chomping down a cucumber. The half bottle of liquor was left over from a reception the man had attended and he didn't want to just throw it away.

"I recognize the brand, It's very expensive. No wonder he's not willing to just leave it at the station," a netizen wrote on Sina Weibo.

A number of netizens said they recognized the label on the bottle seen in the video, saying it is from the famous Jiannanchun brand of baijiu based in Southwest China's Sichuan Province. The brand's most expensive bottle costs almost 1,200 ($185).
