The new show Yuan: Meng Luding at the Beijing Mingsheng Art Museum is one of the largest exhibitions from Chinese artist Meng Luding. 

The exhibition features two painting series, Yuan Rate and Cinnabar, both of which showcase the artist's signature style of creating round-shaped paintings with colorful dots. 

According to exhibition curator Feng Xi, the exhibition explores not only the artist's multiple paths of creative innovation, but also his nine representative works from his transitional period and the painting machine he used to create the Yuan Rate paintings. 

During his 35-year art career, Meng undertook multiple shifts in his artistic language, repeatedly correcting, overturning and resetting this language and his approach to art, in turn gained recognition from the public. 

The exhibition is scheduled to run until December 11.
