Naked Festival

(luǒjìjié)

A: Did you know that Japan has an ancient holiday called the "Naked Festival"? During the third week of February every year, Japanese males will wear only the traditoinal fundoshi and compete to gather fortune sticks that have been thrown and stick them in rice to symbolize a year of good fortune.

B: I've really never heard of it, but this holiday sounds really interesting! But Japan has confirmed about 400 people who have novel coronavirus pneumonia. If they hold this festival, aren't they afraid of getting the new pneumonia?
