New Sichuan bridge will end era of ferry crossings

The Hejiang Yangtze River Bridge 3 in Southwest China's Sichuan Province was closed smoothly on Monday. The bridge, which is 1,420 meters long and 668 meters wide, connects the south bank of Hejiang old town and the north bank of the new urban district, ending the era of crossing the river by ferry.
