All-female Chinese musical group, Twelve Girls Band, will stage a concert at the Beijing Exhibition Hall Theater as part of celebrations for their 10th anniversary. With help from music planner, Wang Xiaojing, the band embarked on its music journey in June, 2001. The group originally consisted of 12 classically-trained girls hailing from various conservatories across the country, but later included a 13th member. They became popular among music lovers by performing modern, pop-sounding music using traditional Chinese instruments.
