Geely's new car launching ceremony in Lebanon was held on the evening of 6 June 2012 in Beirut. Besides Geely representatives, Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Wu Zexian, Counselor Zhao Guangling and Ge Hua, as well as other Lebanese businessmen were present at the ceremony.

Wu expressed a warm welcome to Geely marching into Lebanese market at the opening speech, adding that the two countries have had a good trade relation, and in 2011 the bilateral trade was close to $1.7 billion thanks to Chinese and Lebanese business people's effort,

Wu also hoped that the businessmen between the two countries could cooperate further in the future.
