The First International Exhibition of Construction Technology (Vietconstech 2012) will take place in Vietnam's capital Hanoi from June 27 to 29, the Ministry of Construction (MOC) announced at a press conference on Tuesday.

Eighty businesses including 53 domestic and 27 foreign businesses operating in construction and transport sector from Japan, France, Germany and Australia will participate in the event.

The exhibition will focus on introducing effective technologies in fields of transport, irrigation, hydropower, thermal power, nuclear power, mineral exploration and exploitation.

It is expected to be a good opportunity for both domestic and international businesses to introduce their achievements in construction, designing, quality control and manufacturing of equipment, materials, and technological software, said MOC.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, there will be seminars on new construction technologies in Vietnam and advanced technical solutions to improve investment efficiency in construction.
