After a Xi'an television news segment was aired about a mysterious mushroom found by a farmer, viewers quickly identified the object after having a good laugh. 

A female reporter interviewed a local farmer surnamed He who claimed he found a 19-centimeter long "magical fungus" while digging a well. Baffled by the find, the journalist handled the soft object and said that she would find an expert to comment.

However she didn't have to look far, as viewers called in explaining it was a silicon rubber masturbation device, complete with vaginal and anal cavities.
