Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan said on Friday that the government would give a full support should Australian investors aim to invest on cattle farm in Indonesia, the Antara news agency reported.

The minister said that the government would prepare East Nusa Tenggara province and Papua province as the area for the farming.

The remarks were made after the return of Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono from a visit to Australia this week, during which the president urged Australian investors or cattle racers to invest in Indonesia, particularly in the eastern part of the country.

Dahlan said that the investors may cooperate with Indonesian state firms or conducted business by them selves.

"Should Australian investors prefer to do the business by themselves they may do, but if they would like to cooperate with state firms, it is also possible," he said.

Australia exported most of their meat products to Indonesia as the demand in Indonesia keep rising.
